Beginning again.
Reaching higher.

Everest was the summit of a much longer journey back to herself.

In 2020, a serious accident interrupted Shradha’s life. Recovery brought a new perspective on how she wanted to live—and a return to the mountains she had loved as a child.

She began hiking in the UAE, then took up mountaineering at 38. Kilimanjaro became the first of five summits. In May 2026, at 41, she reached the highest point on Earth, while continuing a senior career in international banking.

Behind those summits is a quieter daily commitment: training, yoga and showing up consistently. Her yoga practice is a way to cultivate breath, balance and steadiness—the inner preparation that accompanies the physical work of climbing.

Indian by origin, shaped by life in Singapore and Dubai, Shradha brings the perspective of a woman building a life across countries, careers and personal turning points. Her story asks a simple question: what might become possible if we give ourselves permission to begin?

One mountain.
Then the next.

From her first high-altitude climb to Everest in under three years. Each expedition built the experience for the one that followed.

It began with Kilimanjaro: a bucket-list dream to climb Africa’s highest mountain before turning 40. Reaching its summit in June 2023 opened the door to something larger. Later that year, on a trek to Everest Base Camp, she saw Everest’s summit for the first time from Kala Patthar. That moment sparked a new dream.

Elbrus came next, building her technical skills and confidence on snow and ice. Then came Aconcagua, in the brutal, dry and windswept Andes. Pushing towards 7,000 metres tested her endurance and gave her experience at a new altitude.

Manaslu took her into the world of the 8000ers—the world’s most formidable mountains, in the death zone. Her first 8,000-metre summit was a testament to the discipline, resilience and self-belief she had built along the way. Everest was no longer simply a dream; it was the next expedition she was preparing for.

In May 2026, she stood on the summit of Everest. A journey that began with a single item on a bucket list had taken her to the highest point on Earth—one mountain, one lesson and one deliberate step at a time.
